Twitter Updates for 2010-01-12

Welcome to today's edition of "My Day In Tweets"… #
I drove home from work, aired up the tires on my Mary Poppins commuter bike, and started riding towards Dylan's school to meet him. #
Dylan called me when I was halfway to his school. I was riding to meet him, and he said, "Oh no, I forgot my bike!" He had started walking. #
We met up on our bikes and rode down to the bank. After talking to the teller, I silently pointed at Dylan, and she gave him a lollipop. #
Our next stop was the gas station. We weaved through adjoining parking lots and stopped out front. I picked out candy and a bottle of water. #
We headed towards home. I asked Dylan if he wanted to wait for Rain to get out of school, and he said yes. We sat on the sidewalk out front. #
Dylan ate his lollipop, and I had some candy. When kids started coming out of school, he asked me if he could go find Rain, and I said yes. #
Dylan took off towards the entrance, was gone a few minutes, then ran back up to me with Rain behind him. He unlocked her bike for her. #
We rode across the grass and down the sidewalks to our house. Once inside, the kids went to play some games, and I fell asleep in my chair. #
An hour later, Rain came downstairs, asking me about dinner. I started awake, then realized my phone alarm had gone off. Dylan had practice. #
We ran out of the house for a quick bite before practice. At KFC, they didn't have Rain's crispy chicken, and they got Dylan's sides wrong. #
They had us keep the extra sides. We have enough leftovers for another meal. Sang "Use Somebody" like the Chipmunks on the way to practice. #
Made it to practice just in time-The coach pulled me on court and had me play offense-I shot a big 2 pointer & heard "She's better than us!" #

I’ve been in bed for twelve hours now. This isn’t getting any better. I give up–I’m going to Minute Clinic today. #
